My husband and I bought our Sprinter van from Steve in the summer of 2024. We found our van, now affectionately called Willow, after an extensive search. We knew right away this was the van for us. The attention to detail and clear vision for what is important for traveling in a van was instantly apparent. We were brand new to van life and needed an enormous amount of hand-holding. Steve has always made himself available through text, call, and even FaceTime. He has been incredible to work with and never made us feel silly for all of our questions! Steve also has been available when we needed some minor fixes (gray water line was cut by a rock, cabinet latch broke). He’s just the most upstanding and honest person. We are so happy with our purchase and our seller! His builds are top-notch!

we love this van because it is good at multiple categories. Off road, it's good enough for remote spots and very reasonable for back country travel. Great snow control and traction. Good highway cruiser. Our nights are cozy in the cold spots we love, and this cruiser gives good visibility, Good sound, easy cooking and good times all together. We love it! 😍

As a small business owner/professional sailor who spends most of my time on the go, I purchased one of Steve's earlier builds back in January 2022. Since then I have either lived in or used it an average of 9 months per year as a support van for my seasonal business or for personal travel, hauling all kinds of parts, equipment, and gear. She has traveled from Cape Flattery, WA to West Quoddy, ME, down to Key West, FL and everywhere in between. Steve's build out is clean, well organized, and features easy to use systems. It has been through numerous rough roads, countless loading and unloading of all storage spaces, several "operator errors" and is still going strong!

Our family has an expression. “It’s just the bomb.” We’ve made some significant purchases with that as the bottom line for our choice, and we’ve never regretted one of them. The price tag is usually a little out of our league, but the quality of the product is so far ahead of the pack it just makes sense to do what you can to afford the best. The van we bought from Steve was one of those purchases. It’s just the bomb.
Why? From top to bottom, from frame to finishing touch, he uses the best quality materials and equipment. When we looked at other vans, cabinets were made of particle board, even cardboard. Steve uses furniture grade plywood. From the switches to the toilet, everything on board is carefully selected to work well, and keep working. The systems and layout are designed to be intuitive and accessible. It’s simply easy to live in.
We don’t get to use the van as much as we’d like to these days, and thought about selling it this fall. But then we were on our way home from a conference and decided to stop for the night because we were bushed. Found a sweet spot by the river. I cooked up a quick dinner. We slept so soundly. Picked some flowers with coffee in the morning and headed back to the real world.
It’s not for sale.
