The Full Story

I built my first camper van, a 1972 VW Westfalia, in 1990 and I still own and use it! I've put well over 250,000 miles on it and I have never lost my love of wandering around our great wild places in an agile, self sufficient camper van.

As a life long climber, paddler, biker, skier and hiker, I learned early on just how great it is to have a mobile basecamp to launch various adventures from. What was true thirty years ago is still true today.

When the pandemic hit, I made the pivot from building high end custom homes to building high end custom camper vans. The decision was one of the best I have ever made.  I am able to combine my passion for design and building with a lifetime of experience traveling off grid in camper vans to produce vans that are something I can truly be proud of.  My goal is to craft vans that are a highly mobile extension of a persons home, with no compromises in regards to comfort, convenience, and aesthetic quality.

I am a highly meticulous builder and I hope that trait is readily apparent when you step inside one of my vans.  High functioning, thoughtful design are what I strive for in all aspect of my builds, and I am always pushing myself farther down that endless path.
